Good morning everyone …… here is a comparison of what i got in my September Ipsy Bag vs Play by Sephora ..i know its kinda late…but it’s better late than never right. Let’s get started
Before we head to the bag some info about the subscription.

Love the bag it has some girls printed metallic print. I only feel bad because the bag had a chemical smell. It’s been almost a week the bag was kept in open and i can still smell it.
Feels like a combo of dry shampoo and conditioner. Smells good and i like that it’s a good travel size. Certainly going to use in my upcoming travel.
I was so happy to see this item in my bag. I have tested this moisturizer as perk from sephora. I can use this sample for couple of weeks and the best part is that it’s not a foil packet.
This blush is not really a blush for my skin tone but it works like highlighter as it’s so shimmering. It’s certainly full size item in fact when i checked on BelláPierre Cosmetics website they sell 4g version and what i received was 6g.
I was super excited for this lip injection but i must say this is not for me. It just doesn’t tingle but it burns . I tried this on my bare lips and omg it felt as if my lips were on fire. It’s certainly an expensive product. I am glad i got to try the sample first.
I have a love hate relationship with be a bombshell products. Most of the time the product works great but they have strange chemical smell which goes away but when you are applying them it will be noticed. This product exactly falls in the same category great color, two coats and i was done. But the smell was too much for me.I wished they took care of this issue and i would certainly buy more products from them.
Now let’s move to Play by Sephora.
Play by Sephora is a monthly beauty subscription box that brings you the best of it. Each month, you’ll look forward to a curation of five deluxe, prestige samples (plus a fragrance bonus) in a collectible bag.

The box includes PLAY Book which has the tips and tricks. Also don’t forget the pass you can use the pass for free tutorial and 50 extra beauty insiders points on any in store purchase.
All the goodies are packed in this cute bag. I like to reuse these bags eg: for hair ties ..you know how they disappear
Have never tried these rouge shine lipsticks. The color is kind too pale for my skin tone but they are so hydrating and has that candy gum fragrance. I am not so mad at the fragrance,it fades away quickly so does the lipstick the lasting power is not that great needs to be reapplied but i love the hydration it gives.
This is certainly a repeat offender, got this in my march 2016 play sephora bag. I am glad they included it in this bag since this one of my favourite eyeliners. The sample which I received earlier is now kind of started to dry out and was in need of new one. So yay …this eyeliner is a winner.
I love the living proof products but they are so expensive. So whenever i get a deluxe sample it makes the subscription so worth it .This one seems to be overnight mask, pillow safe ..interesting to me ..will update on my instagram how it works.
Another repeat offender from the september 2015 box.But i would have liked if sephora would have checked if had tested this product earlier. I am not mad but the reason for these subscription box is to try out new things right???There is nothing wrong with the moisturizer I can get at least 3 weeks of use as you need very little.
I always wanted to try this brow gel and i must say it certainly worth the hype. Great sample size.
This is a bonus item and sephora does send out very expensive perfume samples. It smelled fresh and citrusy.
Value of Ipsy:$45.6
Value of Play of sephora:$29.65
Overall both subscription performed very well in fact the retail value of Ipsy is much higher than play by sephora. Ipsy could have won this one but for the too faced lip injection which is a complete toss and so Sephora is the clear winner 🙂
By the way both these subscriptions have variations so what did you get in your bag ? Let me know in the comments below. Also if you like to sign up for any of these subscriptions here is the link
